With DocuSign requiring additional marketing expertise to help launch new markets in EMEA, a new Marketing Manager was required to develop and execute strategic marketing programs in Italy. The new role was responsible for demand generation and marketing communications strategy – in alignment with the company’s global direction – to support sales functions with integrated marketing programs to help achieve business objectives.
Marketing Manager Challenges
This was an incredibly hard role to recruit. The Marketing Manager was required to be fluent in Italian while being based in London, have experience of setting up programs in new markets and come from a B2B software background. These specific requirements meant that there was an incredibly small pool of candidates who had the required experience.
