Against a pressing deadline, the company approached MarketingMoves’ Partner for Interim Management & Contract Recruitment Laura Barrett to fill a contract Internal Communications Manager position to cover a maternity leave.
The Internal Communications Manager supports the European region with all aspects of internal comms as well as executive comms for senior managers across Europe. Specifically, creating content, digital comms strategies, exec comms, employee newsletters, intranet content and targeted email campaigns.
The challenge lay in finding a candidate who had the global experience in an internal and executive comms role, with a strong technology background. Someone who could start immediately was hugely important too. With all three combined, this was not an easy piece of recruitment.
